Passionate fans of the pop star are urging that a person who jumped a fence and seized the performer during yesterday's Wicked: For Good launch be detained or deported from Singapore.

A circulating footage depicts the individual from Australia bypassing media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a promenade flanked by fans.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo promptly pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was observed being escorted out of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen stated on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "let go after being detained", though legal records revealed that he was scheduled to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram account features clips of him interrupting other celebrity events, including rushing the platform at Katy Perry's Sydney concert in June this year and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last winter.

"Steps should be implemented taken against him as this is obviously a punishable act," stated an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" one Instagram user wrote.

Followers Voice Worry Over Ariana's Well-being

Numerous fans accused Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of experiencing trauma-related anxiety after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her 2017 concert in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and injuring many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" said one more message on Instagram.

Several fans also faulted guards at the premiere for not being adequately prepared; while others called for social media platforms to block Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Event Details

In videos spreading on the internet, Grande looked shocked when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted reassuring her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has not commented on the situation, and the rest of the event carried on uninterrupted.

Many of attendees had congregated in a sea of green and pink at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore venue, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it started.

The film, to be launched on 21 November, is the follow-up of a two-film interpretation of the popular theatrical musical Wicked, which centers on the unexpected bond between two contrasting characters.

The musical itself is a derivative of the twentieth-century book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the character Glinda Glinda, was dressed in a rosé glittering gown at the event while Erivo, who acts as the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were alongside co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The first movie, Wicked, was the most successful film of last year in the UK, and scored ten Academy Award nods, securing several for best costume and set decoration.
